Certification Requirements

To attain certification as a Neuro-Semantic / NLP Trainer, individuals must complete the following prerequisites:

Trainers must also apply for the NS/NLP Trainers Training, demonstrate competency in Presentation and Training Skills, and maintain their status within ISNS.

Training Requirements

NSTT trainers provide training in both Meta-NLP (NLP Practitioner) and Meta Masters (NLP Master Practitioner) levels. The minimum classroom and prerequisite hours are as follows:

Competency Assessment

Competency testing is a pivotal facet of our standards. Trainers undergo testing to ensure their proficiency in the foundational skills and knowledge of the NLP model. This assessment encompasses both theoretical understanding and practical application, with evaluations taking various forms such as paper tests and experiential challenges.

Practitioner Level Competencies

For certification at the basic Practitioner Training level of Meta-NLP (NLP Practitioner), trainers must demonstrate the following competencies:

Rapport building and pacing skills
Calibration of inner states and sensory acuity
Creation of well-formed outcomes
Utilization of Meta-Model and Milton Model
Anchoring techniques and V.A.K. systems
Shifting of states of consciousness
Effective use of chunking and sub-modalities
Identification and utilization of client's movie representations
Resource elicitation and amplification
Ethical considerations using the Meta-Model

Master Practitioner Level Competencies

At the Meta Masters (NLP Master Practitioner) level, trainers showcase an advanced understanding of NLP by mastering:

Meta-Model of Language, Meta-Programs, and Meta-States
Matrix Model for client tracking and follow-up
Strategy elicitation and utilization
Systemic thinking and ecological considerations
Utilization of value frames and mental movies
Application of the Mind-Lines model for reframing
Working with sub-modalities and trance states
Expertise in framing, meta-levels, and quality control
Critical thinking skills and ethical decision-making
